These logs were lost during historical logging operations and have been perfectly preserved by the cold, silted water, resulting in uniquely dense, durable, and beautifully colored wood. Due to their age and the unique mineral interactions, sinker cypress logs are a prized material, offering an eco-friendly alternative to new-growth wood

Color/Appearance: Cypress case wood varies greatly depending on the log. Color tends to be a light, yellowish brown. Some tend to have slightly warmer, darker heartwood colors.
